Flowerpot VP1 Pendant light
Excellent design – sophisticated construction
The new Flowerpot VP1 colours reflect the interior design trend and set new accents in your own four walls. The luminaire body of the Flowerpot VP1 pendant luminaire is made up of two aluminium hemispheres. The upper, larger hemisphere holds the light source, while the lower hemisphere, just half the size, faces the upper one and is held in position by an outwardly invisible metal frame. The small hemisphere conceals the light source and provides a pleasantly indirect, lead-free light. The inner surfaces of the hemispheres are coated white and serve as light reflectors. The well thought-out construction of the Flowerpot VP1 once earned designer Verner Panton the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.

A multitude of variation possibilities
Thus, the Flowerpot lighting family offers a multitude of variation possibilities. In this way, pendant luminaires and table luminaires can be colour-coordinated with the ambience in one and the same room. In business premises such as a law firm, a practice or an office building, Flowerpot luminaires can be coordinated with the corporate design. This unconventional marketing has a breathtaking effect, can be implemented quickly, easily and relatively inexpensively and ensures a lasting effect on customers, clients, patients and business partners. The colour of the Flowerpot VP1 pendant luminaire can be matched to the colour scheme of its surroundings. Deliberate design accents are created when the shade of the Flowerpot VP1 luminaire picks up on the colouring of an object in the room, for example a painting, carpet, tiles, etc.
Classics of design history
Flowerpot luminaires, colloquially also Flowerpot lamps, are a luminaire series of the Danish furnishing label &Tradition, produced under licence according to a design by the architect Verner Panton from 1968. Almost half a century after the first design, the Flowerpot VP1 pendant luminaire is more popular today than ever. Flowerpot VP1 – undoubtedly a classic of design history, available from TAGWERC as a licensed original.
