Wire LampLARGE
One year after the Pantonova wire furniture series, Verner Panton launched the Wire Lamp in 1972. Modular furniture that seems to suit every situation was the strength of Verner Panton. In this style, the Wire Lamp Large in yellow perfectly matches the furniture of the Pantonova family, especially the Wire Shelf. Also the Wire Cone Chair harmonizes with the large, yet filigree light. Shaped from a wire rope twisted into a spiral, the Wire Lamps are completely open on the sides and downwards. The end up is a coloured plastic cap that looks like a hat. Formerly designed in white, brown, yellow and orange, today the Wire Lamp Large is still available in white and yellow. There is also a smaller version, the Wire Lamp Small in white.

That the Danish designer Verner Panton devised furniture, carpets and lamps for eternity, the Wire Lamp Large in yellow proves. Developed in the 1970s, Verpan revamped the table lamp and floor lamp in almost lifelike fashion to the original in 2010. The hemispherical head of the Wire Lamp Large uses translucent yellow plastic to elegantly hide the bulbs while pleasantly cooling off the light.
