The colourfully painted steel framework makes the wall sconce AJ Wall look noble and filigree. Thanks to the same colour painted lampshade, which is kept movable, the light beam of the AJ Wall can be individually aligned. By direct wall mounting, the wall lamp AJ Wall is securely anchored. However, no electrical wall connection is required for the assembly of the AJ Wall, because the wall lamp AJ Wall is supplied with power cable (2.40 meters) and plug for power supply. AJ Wall, a member of the AJ lighting family by renowned designer Arne Jacobsen, was originally designed for the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, now the Radisson Collection Hotel – Royal Copenhagen. The hotel of the airline Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) was implemented by Arne Jacobsen as an overall concept between 1956 and 1960. Louis Poulsen dates the year of origin for the AJ Wall lamp to 1960.
