Campari Bar
Clou with Campari bottles
“Campari – What else?” this brand slogan, which goes back to the New York advertising agency James Walter Thomson, advertised one of the most famous Italian liqueurs in the 1980s. Campari ingredients include: Quinine, pomegranate, spices, ginseng, herbs, orange peel, rhubarb and citrus oil. Another main ingredient: the bark of the Cascarilla tree. Just as unusual as the composition of the flavour components in the production of the Campari liqueur is the idea of using the small Campari bottles, which hold just under ten centilitres, as the main ingredient of a lamp. The highlight: the ten mini Campari bottles can be removed from the luminaire at any time, used and replaced with fresh mini Campari bottles.

Campari Bar by Raffaele Celentano
“The quality of the light is more important to me than the form, and so I concentrated on that,” says Ingo Maurer about his work as one of the most important lighting designers of the 20th century. And this is also the case with the Campari Bar table lamp designed by Raffaele Celentano and built by Ingo Maurer. The charismatic light object is reminiscent of one of the most popular aperitif drinks and makes use of its inimitable colour, an iridescent ruby red. In this way, the light source hidden inside illuminates the translucent liquid and lets it shine in a wonderful way.
Design in love with detail
But not only the lighting effect is unique. The detailed design of the Campari Bar table lamp makes the heart of every design lover beat faster. The centre of the lampshade, which is made up of Campari bottles, is crowned by stylised ice cubes. The cubes are on the one hand a visual gag, on the other hand they serve as diffuser and reflector for the glare-free light of the Campari Bar table lamp. The lamp cord ends in a Campari crown cork, which also functions as a handle for switching the Campari Bar table lamp on and off.
Bar and Coffee Corner
The experimental arrangement of Campari bottles as a lampshade and a light source housed inside allow breathtaking light scenarios and light reflections to be created. Therefore, the Campari Light pendant luminaire fits everywhere where an attractive, pleasantly filtered light is desired that radiates warmth and intimacy. A bar, a private area in a lobby, a coffee corner – the Campari Light pendant luminaire provides the perfect eye catcher and Italian charisma.
