With a bulb of up to 75 watts, the FUN 0DA METAL pendant lamp provides a pleasant indirect mood light. About the reflective surface of the metal discs the immediate vicinity of the hanging lamp is immersed in an exciting light and shadow play. With a diameter of 53 centimeters and a height of 76 centimeters, the FUN METAL 0DA looks more like an opulent chandelier that draws everyone’s attention. The high-gloss chrome frame of the FUN 0DA hanging lamp has four metal rings of different sizes, from top to bottom increasing. Chains of metal discs in different lengths are hung from these rounds. Small metal rings are connecting the individual metal plates together. This compound holds the individual members movable. Depending on the heat generated by the light source, the metal plates begin to move. Getting into contact it sounds like a gentle melody, similar to a wind chime. This effect is achieved, above all, with a breath of wind that reaches the metal discs.
The hanging lamp FUN METAL 0DA is produced by the Danish manufacturer Verpan. It is part of the FUN luminaire family of designer Verner Panton, consisting of table lamps and suspension lamps in different sizes. The FUN luminaires are available with aluminum discs in the metal version, while at the shell version of FUN lamps slices of genuine mother of pearl are processed.
